Topdown character controller (Craig Horsley)


For the character controller for our prototype concept, we found this Brackeys tutorial which will help us implement top down omnidirectional movement - this will suit our idea more than the previous idea we tried to adapt (where we reused the controller originally intended for a 2D platformer also made by Brackeys, because of our familiarity with it)

It may also allow for future development of the prototype through the support for animations in the latter half of the video, where if we replaced the circle with an actual character we'd be able to cleanly implement movement animations.
