Major Devlog
So whilst we: I and my creative partner must admit that we didn't do a lot of devlogs throughout we have been working on this game within the 10 weeks allocated to us. I had insomnia issues for a while (2 weeks) so I was taking it easy for a bit but I did come through with the coding side of things in the end as I had to resume work insomnia or not after those 2 weeks.
- All of the groundwork was shared between us in the labs which we also had Sokol's help for in terms of starting to create the game and getting the ground works for the game going
- Most of the assets were found collaboratively with the exception of the tree.
- All of the prefabs were created by craig
- A few base scripts were added by craig enemy.cs, the ice platform (only the appearing bit), Life increase script, a lot of spell.cs
- Most scripts however and the way the interacted with the prefabs were added by me in other words he would often start off scripts but a lot of the core functionality + debugging would come from me.
- Craig did the music and sfx for the game as well as designing the levels. (I used the test level mostly though)
- I advised about some tags and made some layers for scripting purposes too. (e.g. the Fireball tag)
